Well, I guess it’s time for me to go,
Time to say goodbye to all I know.
Well, I guess it’s time for me to start
To share the truth that lights my heart.
I am leaving my country and my home
To enter a world I’ve never known.
I am leaving behind my family,
And all of those who mean so much to me.
But it’s the least that I can do, my Savior, for you,
After all that you have done for me.
Despite my weaknesses and fears, I dedicate these years,
To preach thy Gospel, Lord, to feed your sheep.
Well, I guess sometimes it will be hard
To share thy everlasting word.
I am sure that sometimes they won’t want to hear
The message I came so far to share.
But it’s the least that I can do, my Savior, for you,
After all that you have done for me.
Despite my weaknesses and fears, I dedicate these years,
To preach thy Gospel, Lord, to feed your sheep.
Because you said, “If you love me, you’ll feed them,
Tenderly you will guide them and you’ll lead them,
So that I can softly receive them
Into my arms, where they belong.
Well, I guess, it’s time for me to go,
Time to say goodbye to all I know.
Time to show the love I feel for you,
‘Cause Savior, it’s the least that I
Can do.
