These Are They Which Testify of Me

This is an instrumental piece – a violin/piano duet.
As such, there are no sung lyrics.
However, for reference,  the music reflects these hymn lyrics:

1. Jesus, the very thought of thee  With sweetness fills my breast
But greater far thy face to see, And in thy presence rest.

2. A poor wayfaring man of grief  Hath often crossed me on my way,
Who sued so humbly for relief   That I could never answer nay.
I had not pow’r to ask his name – whereto he went or whence he came,
But there was something in his eye that won my love, I knew not why.

3. Come unto Jesus – ye heavy laden
Careworn and fainting, by sin oppressed.
He’ll safely guide you unto that haven
Where all who trust him may rest. 

4. O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow’r throughout the universe displayed,

5. I believe in Christ – he is my King.
With all my heart to Him I’ll sing.
I’ll raise my voice in praise and joy
With grand amens my tongue employ.

I believe in Christ – He is God’s Son.
On earth to dwell, his soul did come.
He healed the sick, the dead he raised – 
Good works were his – his name be praised.

6. I know that my Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives – He lives who once was dead,
He lives, my ever-living Head.

He lives, to bless me with his love.
He lives, to plead for me above.
He lives, my hungry soul to feed.
He lives, to bless in time of need.

He lives to grant me rich supply,
He lives to guide me with his eye.
He lives, to comfort me when faint;
He lives to hear my soul’s complaint.

He lives, all glory to His name!
He lives, my Savior still the same.
Oh, sweet the joy this sentence gives:
I know that my Redeemer lives.
