This and That

You may be like this – I may be like that –
You may like your pizza thin, I like mine nice and fat!
But we don’t have to argue about who’s right or wrong:
There’s room enough for both of us to matter and belong!

It’s because we’re different That we can have harmony!
We don’t have to be the same To be of value, you and me!

You see things like this – I see things like such –
When we put our heads together, we see twice as much!
So we can solve our problems twice as well, you see,
If I listen to you, and you listen to me!


So you keep being you, And I’ll keep being me,
And we’ll keep learning from each other, Day by day, you see!
