It’s the least that I could do, my Savior, for you,
After all that you have done for me.
Despite my weaknesses and fears, I dedicate these years
To preach thy gospel, Lord – to feed your sheep.
If you love me, feed my sheep.” (John 21:15-17) That was one of the final messages the Savior left with his beloved disciples, and it is as true for us today as it was for them of old.
“Feeding his sheep” is demanding work that involves many sacrifices. But such work is a profound gift of love, to Him who gave so much for us.
